Still alive…and Late Halloween Pics
Hey buddies! Things have been crazy. If anyone (besides Jo!) remembers me, I’m a freelance writer. Well, awhile back, I talked about how I was going to get off my butt and get my career on track (because I was NOT a freelance writer at that time, even though I wanted to be one.) So, I’m doing just that.
The problem is that writing six or eight hours a day makes it tough to be on BuddySlim as much as I want to–however, once again I realize that I need to be here. SO here I am.
Y’all might remember that we have a Halloween party each year and that I wanted to lose 70 more lbs by the time mine happened this year. Well, I didn’t, but I did manage to lose 50. I consider that a fairly good accomplishment. At any rate, here’s what I looked like at the 2006 party (remember, I was preggo for 2007 Halloween, so we didn’t have the party):
So, without further delay, here’s the pic from THIS year’s party. No teasing lol. The costume is homemade. 
I don’t know why the pics are so small…but here, I will place them side by side for easier comparison lol.

It’s hard to see with these teensy pics. I don’t know why they’re showing up this way lol, but hopefully you get the idea. There IS a significant difference, even if you can’t see it in the pics. Plus, the OLD pic is taken at a much better angle than the NEW pic.
Oh well, anyway.
So, I’m back, I missed y’all, and thanks to Jo for giving me that little push I needed to get back here where I need to be.

wow, those photos are great! you really can notice such a difference. I was trying a to add a before and after picture to a blog but they wouldnt even come up tiny, never mind regular sized! oh Well!

HA!! I loooooooove the before and after pictures!! And I can totally see the difference, plus I copied/pasted the photos onto powerpoint just so I can make them bigger—they were pixelated but I was still able to see the difference!! OHLALA!! LOL!!

So….you have inspired me YET AGAIN, to have a sexy Halloween—I have the costume already—waiting, waiting, until next year!! I am seriously considering going home for Halloween next year, just so I can go to the WeHo parade!! I’ve always wanted to go, but next year Halloween falls on a Saturday, so even if hubby is working, we can fly out to L.A. on Saturday morning and enjoy the goblins!!
Anyway….I am soooooooooooooooo glad that you’re back! I’ve missed you so much!!
Did you notice that I’ve made a significant improvement in your absence?? It’s the most improvement I’ve made in THREE years on the site and I couldn’t be more proud!!
