Why did I ever stop??
So I did it.
Worked out that is…and I gotta tell you, I don’t know what stopped me for the last few weeks. I LOVE the way I feel afterward, and even during it feels good.
I mean, seriously…
But anyway, I woke up this morning and did my positive affirmations (which I’d also been neglecting) and then after I got hubby and oldest son out the door, took middle kid to preschool. When I got home with baby, I set her up with a snack and tossed on my workout clothes, popped in my DVD and got to work.
I even did the two mile (instead of the one mile) which took around 30 minutes, then did a couple of other things (pushups, etc) afterward. I feel F_A_B_U_L_O_U_S and I’m so glad I’m getting back on track. Thanks to Jo for reminding me how important working out is in this whole thing–and to all of the rest of my fabulous buddies!
So, I must remember that I have to just do it, because I NEVER regret having worked out. I do, however, regret NOT having worked out…and regrets aren’t any fun.
So, to remind myself, my fitness goals for today:
1. Work out at least 30 minutes. (DONE!! WOOT!!)
2. Drink 8 glasses of water (doing lol.)
3. Write down all food consumed (WW Points).
4. No eating after dinner.
I can do it!! I’m pumped lol.
Okay buddies, I’m off to see the wizard (or hang out with my baby girl, really.) LOL. Have a fabulous and healthy day!!
xoxo
Angie

I always wonder the same thing! I feel so good after I get back in the swing of working out, and I have to wonder why I quit in the first place! It doesn’t make sense, but good for you for exercising!
i know how you feel, i was unstoppable at the gym, then I got laid off and started school. That was enough to mess things up, I am going to go tonight at 7pm but I have been saying that for a while, it is always something.
I always feel great after a good workout and it has been a mystery to me as well as to why one would allow things to get in the way.

LOL I love your Wizard of Oz moment at the end (side note: one of my fav movies). I’m so glad to hear that you’re feeling great and keeping up with your goals! Today is a good day for you and I hope you end it on the right track
Good Luck!
Here’s to staying ON the tracks
Great job!
That is wonderful Angie!! Whoooooooohooooooooooo!
So glad to see you back and in charge!

Thanks for the reply at me site, you are doing great!
Yeah Angie! I am so proud of you girl. I have been dragging my feet all day and I picked up DS from school—he pissed me off AGAIN and I thought I would go to a corner and hide under a rock–but I decided, NO…better I let off some steam at the gym than throw my kid over the freeway bypass—which would justifiable BTW!!
Anyway…you are so right…I never walk away from exercise saying, DAMN, I WISH I HADN’T DONE THAT, like I say and feel after I overeat or eat the wrong things—SO WHY IS IT, that exercise is the first to go?
NO MORE!
This is one lesson I have learned and the one thing I will stick with NO MATTER WHAT!! Are you with me?
Wanna do stickers with me?
your goals are very similair to mine ! keep it up girl ! you are doing great !:)
Wow your post actually inspired me to go into my bag and take down the notebook I’ve been carrying with me and actually put my food intake into it. It sounds like you are doing great and thanks for such an inspiring post!
